  Ranthambore Forest

Ranthambore Wild Life Sanctuary and Tiger Reserve is situated near Sawai Madhopur . The sanctuary cover an area about 1334 sq. kms is a valley surrounded by beautiful forest , lakes and above all nearly 1000 year old fort. According to the latest census the park has 28 tigers. .The commonly wild life which can be watched is sambar, spotted deer, wild boar and above all the Tigers.

 

Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary:

Bharatpur bird Sanctuary is situated near Bhartapur where about 354 species of the birds has been identified. From October to February many migratory birds nest in the sanctuary. With the onset of the monsoons thousands of birds begin their nesting which can be observed from the tracks. Sometimes, many species nest on lithe same tree. While the birds are the main attraction mammals like Wild Boar, Sambar, Neelgai, chital black buck, wild cats and jackals can be spotted in the park.
