Corbett National Park is the India’s first national park established in 1936 covers an area of
about 1318 sq kms., and has a beautiful location in the foothills of Garhwal Himalayas . The park is situated
about 250 Kms from Delhi. The dense jungle of park teem with wild life , the famous tiger of Kumaon in particular.
It also provided a home for panther, wild bore, sloth bear, elephant, deer, python. Cobra etc. The Ramganga river is
rich in mahseer, trout and gonch. More than 585 species of birds have been recorded here which make it an omithologist
!s dream.
